It needs to be easy for end users to report problems - not everyone understands what a bug report is, what it should look like and even where to file it. In Feisty, access to a bug reporting tool is provided in the System menu, as the System -> Report a problem... menu item.
While it does little more than open Firefox to a bug reporting page on Launchpad, it's visible and simple enough for anyone to find and use without feeling too intimidated by jargon or confused by the whole process.
Hopefully, this will allow us to discover and fix more problems, inching Ubuntu that bit closer to perfection. The only problem is finding the man power to go through all of the new bugs which will undoubtedly be filed.
And that's where you come in. Why not join the Ubuntu BugSquad? It's an easy and useful way of getting involved in the community, and you get all the hugs you can handle. Can't say fairer than that.
