Feisty feature of the day #14 - Tune in to Last.fm with Rhythmbox

Last.fm is an online music service, which allows you to listen to samples of tracks and even full songs over the Internet. It has many cool features, which I'm not going to go into here, but suffice to say that I've bought a lot of music as a result of listening on Last.fm.

Last.fm has a Linux client application, which seems to be a Qt app. It crashes a lot for me. There's also Last-Exit, a standalone Last.fm client for GTK which has a crazy project website.

Now, with Feisty, Rhythmbox itself has Last.fm support integrated. It isn't yet as smooth as Last-Exit, has a few bugs and still lacks some features, but it's usable.

Last.fm integration in Rhythmbox

It seems that Rhythmbox is becoming a 'one-stop shop' for all your music-listening needs.
